Good value, may be couple of years old but not showing its age

Summary: Right off the bat, I have to say this is an excellent board. Supports crossfire, the latest am3 processors and has plenty of room for expansion. The colored ram sockets are pretty awesome, too. The pcb scheme doesn't match the green lighting of my case, but it doesn't make a big difference anyways.
Summary: I didn't buy this MB despite having used MSI Main Boards in my home-built personal computers for years. The problem is there's a discrepancy between the title and the technical details. The title says this is MSI 790GX-G65, meaning that the North Bridge is supposedly populated with the AMD 790GX chipset. However, the technical details say it's using 790FX. A small matter, perhaps, but as they say, "Caveat emptor!
Summary: This mobo is awesome! Yes it has the feature to unlock cores on am3 processor that has them locked (example phenom x2) so that it can be a quad core. I ended up buying the athlon x4, which dont get me wrong still is a quad and still is fast, but for the same price I could have gotten the phenom and unlocked it. It would have been equivelent to a $200 quad. Only negative I had to manual set my ram speed to 1600. It auto clocked my 1600 ram to 1333.
Fine MB, only needs a minor update to work with 6 core processors

Summary: Fine MB, indeed. Even it doesn't recognize the AMD Thuban 6 core processor when started, after updating its BIOS it worked truly good! BIOS updating can be done after the OS has been installed, but it would be better if you do it before. System runs very well with that processor, Corsair 2GB RAM couple, and Western Digital 1 Terabyte HD. MB's ATI integrated graphics is outstanding, but I added an ATI 5700 series graphic card and an ASUS 24" LCD monitor to the combo.
Summary: Very good Motherboard and easy to assemble with AMD Phenom II Quad and Kingston Hyper X 1600(OC)8Gb Memory Chips. Running smooth and CrossFireX with ATI HD 5770 two cards with no problem. Best price for this MSI Motherboard and I am satisfied and highly recommend to build on this Board.
Summary: Quick review: Solid motherboard, great value for the money, quick and easy installation, power and reset buttons on the board, tons of overclocking options, wonderful capabilities. The perfect motherboard for everyday computer usage and even some gaming. It saves you money by having onboard graphics, and is capable of playing HD videos and basically doing everything that you expect from a powerful budget computer. Detailed review: I am not a gamer.
Summary: I paired this product with the AMD Phenom II X4 965 chip, which is quad core and runs at 3.4 Mhz. It is installed in an Antec 300 case with 550w power supply, 8 Ghz DDR3 and Windows 7 Professional. Features: - The board has lots and lots of I/O. ESATA, USB, Firewire 400, HDMI, VGA and DVI outputs, LAN, single Optical sound port, and six sound connectors.
