Worked Well While It Worked

Kort "Art, Music, Book & Movie Enthusiast", Amazon
3 July 2013
  • Summary: My son and I built a PC using this MOBO during the summer of 2010. Set up was relatively simple and it worked well until the beginning of 2013. The growing problem was that it would either shut off after some use or not boot up at all. Now it just doesn't boot up period, though it does power on. I at first suspected a bad graphics card. I brought into work and our IT guy determined that the MOBO is the culprit.

Started on fire!

Lazarus Rahl, Amazon
4 January 2011
  • Summary: I purchased this item about 4 months ago from a local retailer (microcenter if that matters). It worked fine up until yesterday. Yesterday when I was using it the comptuer simply shut down and would not power on. I thought it was a power supply issue, so I hooked up a new power supply, and it powered on fine for about 2 seconds when the board started on fire!

Excellent Board

Mountain Dewd, Amazon
27 January 2010
  • Summary: Used this board to build a new HTPC, with great results. Also used was an Athlon-II-250 (3GHz) and 2GB of DDR3-1333 RAM for the basic system. Major expansion is a Fusion 7 HDTV tuner card from DVICO. PC now serves as HDTV tuner/recorder, DVD player, and other video player. Pros: - HTPC is pretty low power, about 50 watts idling, so was able to be kept very cool and quiet, even with stock CPU fan.
