Raymond T., Newegg
11 March 2013
  • Summary: Nothing else in my home had an electrical issue either. My psu powering this board was plugged into a monster brand power strip that i have been using for over 4 years issue free and NO..I have nothign else but pc, monitor and pc speaker system plugged into this power strip.
  • Pros: Basic functions worked. Using 1090t 6 core phenom amd cpu at 3.6ghz then went back to 3.2ghz stock, no voltage adjustments, 1:4 ram ratio with kingston hyper x ddr 3 1600mhz at that speed with all auto other settings
  • Cons: MSI RMA "LACKOF" service and communication! MSI CALL CENTER staff! MSI ...PERIOD! I'm going Asus or Asrock, gigabyte or others from now on. Angle SATA Connectors - bad design

Andy S., Newegg
18 August 2010
  • Summary: Call MSI support about this...and their answer is. Use regular sata connector with an ATX case. So I have to buy an ATX case to put a mATX board. What a joke!!!
  • Pros: Works good until you want to use at least 4 SATA device
  • Cons: Angle SATA connectors: The designer didn't think through about putting SATA connector and the edge and stack on top of each other. Use this in a mATX case(yes, this is mATX board, so it should can go in mATX case). But this also mean that you have to use an angle SATA connector; no room to use re...

  • Pros: Unknown.
  • Cons: Board would not go into bios regardless of PS/2 or USB keyboard being used. Managed to install windows and the keyboard and mouse would work in there no problem. The computer would try to shutdown but the motherboard would just hang forcing a manual shutdown. Sent it back for a refund and picked ...

Like the board but......

Jonathon I., Newegg
4 January 2010
  • Summary: Wrote MSI about not being able to go into my BIOS screen. They sent me a reply saying that my memory modules are not certified for this MB and to go to a different site to see all certified ones. I would have prefered to talk to someone, but that is imposible now and days.
  • Pros: Great layout, fit everything perfectly in the board that I have. THis is a good board, just rated low to see if MSI will give me a number to call, I seem to get the runaround.
  • Cons: Cannot make it to my BIOS screen. Everything else works perfectly. Have played games and everything just to test it out.
