  • Summary: Got this a while back and running it in a small home server. Fans get annoying pretty fast. Else pretty fast for it's size.
  • Pros: Small footprint. Surprisingly speedy, if not using graphical applications Works very nicely as a server. Overclocked mine to 1800Mhz :D
  • Cons: Forget about running any graphic app Fan get's noisy.

Am I The First?

  • Summary: I removed the heat sink and fan, and replaced them with a larger fanless Zalman sink made for video cards (2 diagonal holes). It would be nice of the mobo had 4 holes, or better yet, it could take standard coolers for Socket 7 or P4.
  • Pros: Simply stunned at how little power this CPU draws, how cool it runs, and how quick it is. The mobo does not require anything other than the 20-pin power connector. The I/O speed through the SATA 3ghz interfaces is very good. BIOS is nice, and highly configurable with temp thresholds, fan speeds, ...
  • Cons: The tiny CPU fan makes noise after only a few days of operation.
