Summary: I think this board has gotten a bad rap on reviews in it's beginning and is why it's still low, mostly I think because when it was new the drivers and bios was still being worked out and naturally for those that bought it had a hard time, understandably they were upset. Intel boards as long as I can remember they release them and then refine/develop drivers as problems surface.
Summary: This board worked like gangbusters. For 3 months. Then it was the 3 beeps of death for months. DRAM compatibility issues, I'm told. Over 250 dollars worth of memory later, I can only have 2 sticks installed; I can't turn this computer off for more than a day and I've had to reset the CMOS dozens of times. This board is death. Makes me very leery of ever buying another Intel board. In fact I don't think I will.
Great performance, features and price. Beware of bricking firmware updates!

Summary: Paired this with an I7-3770K and a Radeon 7870 "Tahiti LE" card. Initially the board wouldn't post with the video card installed. After reading forums for a few hours, these boards are notorious for bricking if you flash firmware several versions newer than the existing. Take it easy, upgrade them sequentially and you'll be fine. Once updated, board posted and has run like a top since with the 7870. Performance is as expected from a 3770K and this series of video card.
Summary: I bought this Ivy Bridge board to build a PVR box and a RAID file server. Here are the features I like: - built-in HDMI/DisplayPort to utilize the Intel Ivy Bridge integrated HD graphics - built-in S/PDIF digital sound port - lots of USB3 and SATA ports - lots of PCIe and PCI slots - 4 DIMM slots for high capacity memory These have enabled me to do the following: - drive a high resolution display without a power sucking external graphics card - hookup to an amplifier...
Summary: Excellent board if you want a STABLE board. Ever since my days of running a PC store, when superior reliability was the primary concern, an Intel board was unsurpassed. This is still the case, and it is unfortunate that Intel is getting out of the Desktop Board business. Some other boards have a few more features, but with the Z77 Express chipset, plenty of SATA 3 and USB 3, onboard graphics connectors as well as PCI x16 slots this board is great for a Media Server that...
Summary: I've been looking for a new motherboard for my new build and this was a great pick up when this motherboard was on sale for $89! I read quite a few reviews with people having problems but I've been using my comp after the build for about 2 weeks now and so far no problems. I run it with i5 3570k, gtx 275. The sata plugs are the only thing that's weird when wiring it up.
Summary: The first one of these I got failed after about 2 hours - completely bricked for no obvious reason, CPU fan twitched at power-on and then nothing. The second I received is an adventure in all the many issues with Intels DZ77 family of motherboards - if you really think you want to buy this, search on the product number in the forums on Intel's Communities support forum, where you will find many buyer horror stories and considerable indifference from Intel.
Summary: Got my first motherboard and all 4 sticks of ram posted and booted perfectly on 1st try woohoo. Had to update ram in bios to get it to post 1600 mhz, defaulted to 1333 mhz but no biggie. Felt like this deal was a steal and then I installed my graphics card and non stop crashing. Tested a second graphics card and continued to crash. Called intel and they took me through some steps and nothing solved the problem.
Summary: I had two sticks of RAM and when both were in it (in any slots) it would give me 3 beeps memory issues. It would actually post if I take one stick out. Looked online and tried the suggest to give more power to RAM then it wouldn't boot up at all. I ended up returning the board.
