Problems, but doing OK

Richard L. Rankin, Amazon
19 October 2013
  • Summary: Problems with NVidia GTX7** based video cards, had to add second power supply. If you can get your 2400 RAM to run at 2400, tell me how. Works great otherwise - using 3930K 2x240 GB SSDs and 2 1-TB Velociraptors on RAID card + 240 GB SSD boot. I use for data analysis and it just screams.

Poor Quality

GearHead, Amazon
3 August 2013
  • Summary: I ordered this board on January 31, 2013 and assembled my computer the following week without issues. In May, I start having issues with the computer randomly shutting down for no reason, this escalated over the next couple of weeks to being unable to post without going back to bios, and finally unable to post or access bios. Called Intel and they agreed the board was faulty and shipped a replacement overnight. The new board arrived and fixed the problems.

sweet mobo

olds442_hurst, Amazon
16 June 2013
  • Summary: well so far i love it to no end it is a sweet mobo with many options! although i had to unhook my front panel usb 3 to put in my new sound card but thats because of the large storage capacitors sooo any one with a sound card that has large caps at the end might have the same issue but its not that big of a deal for most sound cards.

I bought another one anyway.

Steven R. Newcomb, Amazon
1 June 2013
  • Summary: I find myself writing a relatively enthusiastic review of this board, despite the fact that I just sent my first one back to Amazon due to a component failure. The first one performed exceedingly well for 4 days, during which I tortured it with a 4-disk software RAID 5 (we're running Linux, Ubuntu 12.04.2 Server edition, as we do all our machines, including servers, desktops, and notebooks).

  • Summary: Item did no work, should be given ZERO stars. Raid drivers missing intel suggested buying a raid control card from third party.

Good Motherboard

Bill Benton "Student", Amazon
26 March 2013
  • Summary: First off this was the second motherboard I ordered. The first was an Asus board. It was received damaged (two of the PCI locking clips were broken off by loose contents in the box). This motherboard is packaged for success. Inside the box you will find the motherboard encased in a really hard plastic case that protects the motherboard from shock and compacting damage.
