Summary: Great board, nice small size (fits into any case, from full-sized ATX to a small ITX case). Good Intel Quality (too bad they're getting out of the motherboard business). Would be nice if it had a full-sized PCI-E x16 slot, and maybe an HDMI port with only one DVI port. Otherwise a good board. Using mine in a home file server. Southbridge does run a little hot so if you can get a fan for the heatsink that would help.
Summary: I bought this motherboard in late 2012 to build my first NAS box. with 4 SATA2 ports and a much lower price at the time of purchase, I couldn't resist. I Paired it with a Intel Core 2 Duo E4500, stuck in 2 1GB sticks of DDR2 RAM and I was nearly ready to go. There was one major quirk: This board will NOT allow bolt-through heatsinks because of a chip on the underside of the board that gets in the way of the underside brace!
Summary: purchased this motherboard to make a budget computer. after reading some reviews and features this is a great price and deal. just want I was looking for. less expensive than buying one from a local store.
