Summary: Motherboard has been good but appears to have some problems handling ambient thermal temperature. After closer inspection there was clearly some warping and thermal damage to the board in a case that is practically all fan. This is the first desk board I have owned from Intel that I have had such issues I am going to try something different this time.
Summary: I recently upgraded to this "newer and faster" motherboard - increased the memory to 4GB, and thought I was making improvements over my older Intel G965WH motherboard. I was using Vista Business (32 bit version)as the Operating System on both ( Microsoft Vista - also not so great). While the DP35DP board supported a slightly faster CPU ( I upgaded from a Intel D940 CPU to the E8400). . . in my opinion, overall, the trade-offs I received were not worth the trouble.

Summary: Before you decide to buy this board and intend to use win XP you should know this: You will need to install that RAID/SATA driver into the hard disk before you boot to the XP installation, even if you have one hard drive. Otherwise the installation will stop. The problem is that this driver is on the CD that came with the board and on a floppy.
