Summary: Works perfect - replaced on a Dell computer. I'm lucky I have a son that knows how to do this kind of repair. When I called Dell, they were only concerned that my warranty ran out and wanted to sell me an updated warranty plan. I just wanted to know if I could purchase a new motherboard for them, not impressed with Dell customer service.
Summary: Pros: I installed this MOBO as a replacement for a failed boad that I could no longer get (Gigabyte H55M-UD2H). It was a bit lager, but fit my case just fine. Had no problem transfering the memory (G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM) and CPU (Intel Core i3-540 Clarkdale 3.06GHz LGA 1156) to this card. After some initial and normal set ups it just worked. I'll post back after a month or so to confirm that all is well. Cons: None so far.
Summary: I used this motherboard as a replacement for a ASUS LGA1156 Intel P55 Deluxe motherboard which crash due to electrical problems I had. It turned out to be a perfect replacement as it was compatible with all other components in the computer. It booted up without any problems just had to install board drivers.
Summary: I am a network engineer, with a Computer Science degree. Been doing this for over 15 years. One major fault for this motherboard is that even though it has a DVI and VGA, most of the 1156 CPUs will not support it and you'll have to buy a video card to get things working... Totally unnecessary.
