Summary: Pros: The best schematic I have ever seen with a MOBO. Great color coding and everything is clearly labeled The PCI cards and Ram cleanly snapped in with positive movement of the tabs. Cons: There was zero protective cushioning in the box. Nada. A static bag and that's it. I expect something this fragile should at least have a foam pad.
Summary: If your looking for a good priced, solid mobo for a Core processor, this is great, for me it has its limits due to its lack of overclockability. You cannot manually adjust cpu voltage which is a big downer for geeks like me trying to get the best out of thier machine. Other than that, it is fine! If your not going to customize the settings and what not, this is a great and reliable motherboard!
Summary: I've used this particular build for two vastly different builds - a Core i7/16GB RAM gaming/photo editing build for me, and a low-end build for my mother who's idea of "taxing" a PC is to view two YouTube videos at once. It's performed admirably in both cases. A few things to note; 1. There is only one PS/2 port. So, either your keyboard or your mouse (or both) has to be a USB version, or you'll have have to either get a new one (or get an adapter). 2.
Summary: A good, generally solid motherboard. But the seller didn't include an I/O shield for case mounting. This may also be what the earlier reviewer was referring to. Intel apparently no longer stocks I/O shields for this particular board, so you may have to put up with the minor annoyance of doing without one. More importantly, the DH55HC is notoriously fussy about what memory you put in it and in what configuration.

Summary: DH55HC ordered from Amazon, arrived in 4 days, excellent condition. This is the first computer I ever put together so it was an experience. Using it now, no problems at all , not enough experience to tell good or bad, only complaint new computers stink as they 'burn in'. Had Dell B110, Intel Celeron D, ProcessExplorer stayed at 90% plus. Board & cpu ( i3_530)constant around 40- 55 Cel.
Summary: The install of this board was smooth and easy. Its been some ten years since I put together a desktop and this was really a pleasure once I researched what was needed: Windows 7 64bit, Intel i3 550, 8gig corsair memory, 1 TB caviar black, 1 locally dragged home Antec 300, Silverstone low profile CPU fan, coolmaster 500 Watt PS, lightON DVD. This is my HTPC and so far it's really working nicely.
Summary: I've used about every motherboard brand there is and switched to Intel 6 years ago. Now I would not use anything else. On top of that you get a three year factory warranty. Also Amazon's shipping and handling was excellent.
Summary: I had to rebuild my computer because my previous build had a psu that failed. So Instead of just getting a new psu. I decided it was time to upgrade. I do not overclock so. put the computer together. and everything boots up with no hiccups. solid motherboard.
