Summary: Super for use as an office or HTPC. Room for 8gb of (DDR2) ram and full HD(1080)video + audio output on DVI or HDMI without the need for a separate graphics card. Also does 7.1 audio via analog, coax and fiber out. Runs Win 7 pro 64 just fine. Uses low cost socket 775 processors. All that's missing is USB 3.0 and I was able to add that in with a NEC-based add-in PCIE card.
Summary: This Intel motherboard is especially well suited for business users who require rock solid reliability and compatibility. This is now dated technology, but if you have good DDR2 RAM and a Quad core Intel Socket 775 CPU, this board will keep your system running for a few more years, at least. Well documented and easy to install, the board is well laid out and makes a great board for a standard desktop. No issues at all!!
Summary: I paid over $200 for this motherboard at the time more than three years ago and it broke it less than a year. I would've sent it back to Intel to get it replaced, but my family just decided that we didn't want to deal with a desktop anymore. So we ended up tossing the entire computer. I had a professional computer technician put together our computer...yet it still gave up. It also makes funny beeping noise when your computer starts and there's no way to turn it off.
Summary: Overall, it's okay. I had to replace ASUS P5Q and decided to go with this one. I have Ubuntu Linux on my box and it picked it up fine. No special actions were needed (just transfer the CPU/RAM/Video from the old MB, connect everything and voila - it's up and running. The number of PCI/PCIe slots is limited and they're not really placed well enough (the PCIe x 16 with my GeForce makes one of the PCIe x 1 unusable because of extra fan on the GPU) and there is only 1...

Summary: It´s very good your initiative of ask me my opinion specially in the case of this motherboard.I have 11 years of experience whit hardware ensambling and repairing too, but this motherboard its clear to me are broken before i receive it. maybe the bios are corrupted o maybe another electronic component is broken.Right now i don't using it and i loose my money in this.
Summary: I've just finished replacing an old Intel DG9650T motherboard with this one. The old DG965 was occasionally locking up during boot-up, and would have to be unplugged for several hours before it would boot again. I wanted to just replace the motherboard, and transfer all the active components to the new board, reusing the processor and memory. In my current application for this computer, it did not make financial sense to "upgrade" to a faster computer.
Summary: We are extremely satisfied. Our computer died and we were unsure if we should try to replace it or take a chance and repairing it. Well money is tight and we decided to try and fix it. We ordered a motherboard and not only did it arrived timely and in pristine condition, they added excellent instruction and tips. Our computer is now running tip-top and we couldn't be happier. What can we say? Thank You! OEM XS INC.
