Great Product, Customer Service could be better...

Michael, Amazon
28 January 2014
  • Summary: Package received in poor condition by USPS. The CB was only wrapped in bubble wrap and packing peanuts top and bottom in a card board box only slightly larger than the CB. One corner of the box was crushed and there was clear visible damage to the video output connectors on the board and the board...

Still Running strong

Steven P., Newegg
18 July 2013
  • Pros: I am currently running this machine with a Q6600 Processor and a GeForce GTX 560TI video card. Can play CoD-MW3, Need for speed hot pursuit, most wanted, Amnesia, Skyrim, Diablo 3, etc. Running on a dual boot with windows 7 and 8. No Problems
  • Cons: Granted its a micro ATX board but i still wish it had a second PCI Express x 16 Slot for SLI. Overclocking options would be nice to but i am not missing it.

Awesome MB!

Zha93, Amazon
11 October 2009
  • Summary: This is one excellent MB! I've been an Asus fan for years, but I've grown tired of trying to get newly updated (stable) drivers from them. So I picked intel this time. Not the most over-clockable mb ever produced, but it's fast, stable and the latest win7 drivers work excellent!

Good for general computing

10 October 2009
  • Summary: System built with the following components: - Intel BOXDG35EC LGA 775 Intel G35 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard - Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 Wolfdale 3.0GHz LGA 775 65W Dual-Core Processor Model BX80570E8400 - Western Digital Caviar Blue WD1600AAJS 160GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -...
  • Pros: Nice all-in-one board for inexpensive system building. I built a system with this board back in 6/2009 and it has been on 7x24 since with absolutely no problems. (Okay, I've had problems but that's with Win/XP and not with the MoBo or other hardware components.) Back in 9/2008 I built a system fo...
  • Cons: For what I wanted to build, none.

Intell needs to work on their boards.

Anonymous, Newegg
4 October 2009
  • Summary: [-(continued)-] computer on with every insert, turning it off between inserting. -2- After going into Suspension Mode, or Hibernation mode, the board will not make the effort to enable itself without completely shutting off or unpluging or restarting or resettnig the computer.
  • Pros: It works, and stuff like that
  • Cons: Let's see. - Random Death Screens on Windows when running MCE, WMP, or sometimes random programs that try to use HPET when disabled or enabled. -As stated before, IDE PATA does not stay active; destroyed my old 200GB Hard Drive, and one CD/DVDRW drive. you would have to either restart or hibernat...

Good Mother Board for ESX

Anonymous, Newegg
23 September 2009
  • Summary: This Intel corp. needs to communicate with VMware corp. and make the controllers/components compatible just like Intel and Microsoft. If this system board would have the Intel ICH8 (ICH8R) controller with raid technology would also work well.
  • Pros: This Intel G35 chipset ICH8 controller with 4-SATA ports, 2 EIDE and up to 8gb of ram system board runs great with the Intel Core2Quad 2.86 GHZ processor. I have VMware ESXi3.5 running on it with a Western Digital 1 TB SATA hard drive and a SATA DVD writer.
  • Cons: This Intel G35 Chipset ICH8 controller system board has a Network controller that is not compatible with VMware ESX server operating system. I had to install a PCI 3com network controller in order for the ESX server to recognize the network after with runs great.

Junk

James K., Newegg
23 September 2009
  • Summary: Look at the low ratings. Web search the model and see lots of complaints about the freezes and the PATA problem. Save your money, and a lot of aggravation and try something else.
  • Pros: Nice feature set and price - if it worked.
  • Cons: This motherboard is horrible. Here are the symptoms: 1. Random freezes. 2. Blue screens when using IE or WMP. 3. PATA CD-ROM disappears (you must unplug, reboot, replug, reboot again). 4. Atrocious performance - a program that I run starts out estimating 8 minutes to complete, then suddenly bogs ...
