Major disappointement afer 525MW

PRZ "przygienda", Amazon
21 August 2013
  • Summary: The board is a major let-down after 525MW which we use here for our product. It took good amount of time to debug 525MW (etherchip issues) but 2550 is a disaster. Video support is a major problem & the 82574L ether chip is simply a buggy piece of non-working hardware. Even the 2.4.14 intel driver we custom ported into 2.6.39 is not working. Neither does any Fedora distribution up to 18.

Horrible Video Support! No Windows 8 or Linux, only 32 bit XP or Win 7

MaxTex, Amazon
16 December 2012
  • Summary: Intel changed the graphics unit in the Cedar Trail line of Atom processors. This board will not run Windows 8 and has very limited Linux support. Intel released a closed driver for the MeGo linux, but there is no support for mainstream Linux distributions. Even Windows 7 support is limited, only 32 bit video drivers are supported, even though the chip supports the 64 bit instruction set.
