Summary: I had this motherboard for about a year and what everyone else described with the USB 3.0 ports is dead on. At first I had one go out at a time and didn't think too much of it, until suddenly a year later all of them stopped working on both the rear and front ports.
Summary: The one I ordered was doa but the replacement I bought elsewhere works flawlessly. I LOVE this motherboard. It's fast when paired with a great processor like an i7 and enough ram, in my case 16 GB. I used the parts to build a hackintosh. It's an amazing machine.
Summary: I used this in a custom built Hackintosh. It is a great board and I bought it because it was considered plug-and-play, which it has been. I've have had zero problems with video cards, components, etc. fitting on this board.
Great mobo for a PC build if you you are new or rusty

Summary: I finally, after buying my last two PC's, decided to go back to building my own. It was a science project with my kids where Dad ends up with a sweet PC. I was amazed at how it all came back and how easy it was. A lot of the build "easiness" with the Mobo.
Summary: This mother board installed very easy. Powered up on first try. And runs incredibly fast and is very efficient. I mated this with a new processor (Intel Core i7-4770 Quad-Core Desktop Processor ) and a new power supply (Corsair Professional Series HX 750 Watt ATX/EPS Modular 80 PLUS Gold) tested...
Summary: Came as the newest firmware (rev1.1) and works to this day superbly. I love the BIOS and the options for OCing. It's overall a great board, especially if you plan on expanding in the next 3-5 years. It will definitely last you a long time.
Summary: I am a retired Information Systems Management Professional. I have built over 1,000 PCs starting way, way back. I purchased this board to switch to i7-4xxx series processors. I was excited when I received this motherboard but I was NOT excited when I pulled the CPU protecting cover off.
