Pros: It had all the bells and whistles you would want in a hi-end board for much less cost.
Cons: BIOS just died. Dual BIOS feature doesn't work. C-MOS Reset doesn't work. Removing the battery allows entry into BIOS, but on reboot try, it simply gets stuck in BIOS with a "A6" LED code. Google this problem and you'll find plenty of complaints. I bought a Gigabyte mobo because I liked the manuf...
Summary: never wait to check these. apparently they ship them DOA. unacceptable for a 200$ board Ive had issues with all mobo brands over the years but this is the first one that's dead out of the box. If it fried my 4790 i'll be very upset.
Cons: Dead out of the box. Wont even enter post. When dual bios enabled, it cycle resets itself immediately upon powered on When set to single bios, it stays on (saying its using main bios) but nothing happens. power to fans and cpu (some heat). nothing else. NO codes on the onboard LCD display. It's d...
Summary: Do not buy this motherboard unless you are a gambler. This motherboard gave me nothing but trouble in the installation process and I come to find that when everything is plugged in and all the fans are running, it does not send display to the monitor.
Summary: Had I known about Gigabytes lazy warranty practices and lack of communication, I would have never have bought any of their products. Lesson learned.
Pros: None that I can think of. Extremely frustrated with the whole warranty procedure and lack of communication.
Cons: Motherboard died in less than 1 month. I RMA'd it back to Gigabyte. (Beware they don't cover the shipping, all expenses are on you.) They've had it for over 1 week already and it's still listed as "under repair". I can't believe they are trying to repair it instead of just sending out a new one. ...
Buyer beware - Horrible Customer Service from Gigabyte

Summary: Motherboard died in less than 1 month. I RMA'd it back to Gigabyte. (Beware they don't cover the shipping, all expenses are on you.) They've had it for over 1 week already and it's still listed as "under repair". I can't believe they are trying to repair it instead of just sending out a new one.
Summary: This is my third Gigabyte board and thought I'd try the UD4H rather than the OC that has performed well for me twice already. Big mistake. Gigabyte now down a couple of notches and will consider other board MFG if they do not get back to me soon with the RMA.
Pros: None so far as this board has been nothing but problems. to try and get started.
Cons: Board came without proper support installed for Haswell. Borad does not get past code 15 memory test in dual channel mode .
Summary: At this point I am stuck. I should also mention that the first board I purchased had some issues for which I RMA'd it, and that process worked fine. Not sure why no response this time. Be careful if you purchase this board.
Pros: I have been using Gigabyte boards for several years. For a new build this had everything I needed as far as ports and connectors, dual bios that is selectable on the MB, post readout, on board on-off and reset switches, and many other nice features for the priice. It is an attractive board as wel...
Cons: I began getting blue screens right after loading Windows 7. After exchanging EVERY component on the board, including hard drive, memory, video card, power supply...all but the actual CPU, The blue screens continued. I then ordered the x97 version on this board, put the same components back in the...
Summary: I was telling everyone about this big bad build I was putting together and I don't have the heart of the build to put it together. I'm getting a repaired motherboard back when I bought a new motherboard to start.
Pros: Beautiful motherboard with all the options you could want including very thick double PCB board build with three layers sandwiched and stronger than any other motherboard I've used to build with under $200. Came listed with every option one could want unless you need a motherboard that's built fo...
Cons: Never got to even power it on and see something on the screen. Let me be clear, I have built over 100 gaming desktop rigs, some have been on sites etc. In saying that, I bought this motherboard a while back having spent a lot of money to build a so called ultimate Gigabyte build. I purchased this...
Summary: I will have to look elsewhere for reliable boards. Gigabyte is putting beta test hardware in customer hands and asking them to pay for it. Also, I paid extra $$ for a quick rebate for which they say will take 9 weeks. Goodbye Gigabyte - Byte me Thieves.
Pros: A flashy board that sometimes works That is works at all. Period
Cons: Does not support 4 sticks of memory without a LOT of work (manual setup). This board has serious memory issues with tested functional RAM. Most of the time it would power cycle on and off until the power is cut. XPM profiles are broken on this chunk of f e c a l matter.
