  • Excerpt: I particularly like the very fine adjustments available in the Bios! The looks are quite nice, especially if you are going with a Orange themed build!

  • Summary: No complications. Board just works and works great. BIOS is very nice. Haven't overclocked yet with it but that will be soon to come. Also I enjoy the ability to turn on the computer from the board when working on it.

Great features, tons of I/O, easy to deploy.

  • Summary: I don't overclock, but rather bought this system for a file server. Having 4 PCI-E 8x or 16x slots is an uncommon feature in desktop boards, and server boards tend to cost hundreds more (and which usually don't work with CPU video.) This board was solidly built, a relatively clean layout, and was easy to get running in the inexpensive server case I bought (Rosewill RSV-L4500.

The entire line-up of Gigabyte Boards are NOT for enthusiasts who want good fan control and Gigabyte software doesn't work with

William D. Mruphy "simrace", Amazon

  • Summary: The entire line-up of Gigabyte Boards are NOT for enthusiasts who want good fan control and Gigabyte software doesn't work with windows 8 or 8.1 ONLY the 1 white fan header supports PWM which is not the industry standard. Even older motherboards usually have 2-3 PWM channels. Almost all of Gigabyte's boards have a single PWM fan header and the rest are the old traditional voltage controlled (even though they have 4-pins).

Its fine until it broke

Daniel Lee, Amazon
1 November 2013
  • Summary: I bough this motherboard with the 4770k, and I was skeptical buying this, because it was cheap. I guess you get what you pay for, and it is a fine motherboard, but I had a few issues with it, which made it a 2 star review. I had voltage issues with the CPU, and considering its a OC motherboard, I expected something better. The motherboard would give it less voltage than it actually states, so I would have to give it more.

Perfect

  • Summary: Love the orange theme. The bios is full-featured and easy enough to use, but not idiot-proof. Plenty of slots and USB 3.0 ports. Enough bandwidth for top-of-the-line anything. I couldn't ever tell without delicate testing that the audio card is not the best.
