Cons: It was defective with a sticky mouse which leads to a locked up computer from day one. The problem is exemplified if I have anything in the USB 3.0 ports on the front of the computer or the 3.0 USB top ports on the back of the computer. The problem keeps getting worse. I'll have to replace the bo...
Summary: Build. 3770K CPU 16 GB RAM Geo Force Graphics Card Corsair AX 860 Watt Power supply ATX12V / EPS 12 V SLI Ready CrossFire 480 GB ssd Muschkin Nocuta NH-D12 120mm&140mm SSo CPU cooler Besides the sticky mouse / freeze of mouse keyboard everything has been great.
Pros: It was my first computer build and everything went well, and the board seemed easy to work with. And beside the below issue it has been flawless. I'm hoping Gigabyte can trouble shoot my below issue. Although reading reviews it seems like it might be a common issue with this board.
Cons: Since my first boot, the mouse would stick. I didn't think too much of it. Then on a bad, day the mouse will stick, freeze, the keyboard cuts out and you have to do a hard reset. This is completely horrible as you can imagine when your machine locks up . . . it so inconsistent and all over the ma...
Summary: It just happened to be my luck to receive a DOA motherboard, especially when im bulding my first high-performance gaming rig. I will do an update on the review once the 2nd UP4-TH arrives and i hopefully get my system up and running.
Pros: -The board has many i/o's including usb 3.0 thunderbolt etc - the layout of the board is nice if you are going for a "color schemed" build - Accessories that come with the board (including SATA cables are of nice quality
Cons: THE BOARD WAS DEFECTIVE NO POST! NOTHING! the gpu, cpu cooler, and power supply fans just turned on for 1 second and then shut off! (Checked all i could and determined the problem was the motherboard itself!)
Summary: I have long loved Gigabyte boards and have happily recommended them to friends and clients over the years so when it came time for me to build my updated Ivy Bridge Core i7 computer, I immediately looked for a Gigabyte board.
Summary: Bought a ASRock Z77 Extreme 6, has worked great
Cons: Brought this Motherboard based on the great reviews. Built the pc, and no power. After Hours of troubleshooting, determined it was the mother board. Tried to contact Gigabyte, for support, and after 48 hours, gave up and returned it.
Cons: DOA. Will not make it to post and powers off. Testing using 2 different sets of Gigabyte approved memory. G.Skill F3-12800CL9Q-16GBXL. Tried with both 2700k and 3770k Issue isn't he power supply, tested two power supplies as well. Everything is fully functional on my Asus P8P67....
Summary: I was super excited to put together a new computer. My old ASUS motherboard was becoming too slow. Built this with 3770K not overclocked, 16G of Corsair Vengeance RAM, and installed my 1TB hard drive from the old computer.
Pros: None as I can't get the on-board video to function.
Summary: Be careful when buying this, I am on my third board and keep getting power errors. I know this is not the case for I have tried in multiple power supplies (AX 750, and HX 650). All the personal on support hardly speaks any english.
Summary: Had too many bad experiences with this board. When I try to power on my machine, it powers on briefly for 1 second then cuts off. If I press the power button on the tower again nothing happen until I switch off the power supply and switch it back on.
