Summary: This product deservers 5 stars. Good performance/price relation item. It has lots of options for overclockers, and a very nice integrated sound card. It also supports sli technology which is an added plus. Highly recommended.
Summary: I've owned motherboards from ASUS but they usually crap out after 3 years. It might have been heat issues though. Motherboards these days use higher quality capacitors now days. This motherboard has been working great for the past 5 months. First it had Windows 7 but did a fresh Windows 8 install with no problems. The only thing I don't like is how all motherboard manufacturers don't allow you to record audio from the WAV out.
Summary: I bought this to create a new everyday PC. I've always liked Gigabyte, never had a single problem in all the PC's I've ever built using Gigabyte motherboards. This one did not disappoint in any way.
Summary: I try not to work on PC's anymore, but a friends HP with decent specs suddenly found itself with only 2 working USB 2.0 ports and the problem was not in Windows. I bought this board to replace it. While I do like the features, there are a few things to note if you are doing a board upgrade. 1. The board is a little smaller than the HP H8-1117c's, so there was a little unsupported overhang on the SATA port side. 2.
Summary: Bought this card along with an Intel I7-3770K and I have to say that the setup was very easy. The new graphical bios makes things very easy and it is pretty hard to make a mistake. The card is performing very well and offers a lot of overclocking capabilities.
Summary: This motherboard works great for me. I put Windows 7 on the hard drive and I am using a SSD drive with a standard drive. I have not used the raid features nor any overclocking features nor SLI. I have not had any problems yet.
Summary: I am very happy with this board. It overclocks well, boots super fast, and is easy to setup. There is no need to spend more on a z77 board than this unless you just have tons of extra cash. I play bf3 battlefield 3 at ultra settings with this board and the Intel 3570k.
Summary: I have been running with this motherboard for the last few months, and I can recommend it with confidence. Firstly, the build-quality of the motherboard is excellent. I accidentally put a huge amount of pressure on the RAM-section of the motherboard while inserting the DIMMs - so much pressure the motherboard bent down-wards by A LOT. So much that a lesser-quality motherboard would have cracked. This thing handled it no problem.
Summary: this MOBO has BIOS issues. some configurations work for some buyers. if you have any newer platform hardware, it will not work. get the UD3H or higher, they can handle all platforms, they are full ATX. gigabyte may correct the BIOS issues with a F13 update, but until make this MOBO a NOBO.
Summary: Tons of features for the money. I am very happy with the board. I am using Intel i5 3570k CPU with a Zalman CNPS8000B aftermarket cooler. The setup works great. The motherboard BIOS has 3D visual which looks great but really isn't any more useful then the regular bios if you already know your way around. The bios is much nicer than the previous Gigabyte board that I had and I appreciate the time Gigabyte has spent improving the menu.
