Summary: I paired this board up with an i5 and it runs beautifully. The construction is good no loose components. I know that every board out there will have a few complaining that it was doa or bad construction. Yes every manufacturer has this problem once and awhile. Mass production has lemons occasionally. I have been running this for a month now and no problems. Very happy with it.
Summary: I got this motherboard with intentions adding more graphics cards after time. I've got 1x XFX DD R9 270 in it right now, and soon it will be 2. Been running with an uptime of about a week now, and it's doing great. The only complaint I have is an odd one: There was no PC speaker included? This didn't used to be an optional part for motherboards.
Summary: I haven't had any problems with this motherboard, the bios is great, and it has lots of features! As some others said I think there may be a problem with the DVI ouput on the motherboard itself, but since I'm using this for a gaming PC it dosen't matter since l have a graphics card. All in all I think its a great motherboard!
Summary: This board installs easily and comes up easily. However I have been plagued with intermittancy in the DVI-D output. Particularly, it fails when Windows transitions from its default driver to the Intel driver, so the "welcome" screen does not appear and the screen goes blank. I would say this happens on 75% of boots, meaning one in four resets does work. After that output is good, but maybe once an hour or two, it flashes black for a couple of seconds, then comes back.
Summary: I normally assemble at least 1 PC every year and this MB is the worst experience ever! DO NOT BUY! First, the PCIE x 16 slot (the other PCIE is only x4 and share with other PCIE ports for bandwidth) failed. It didn't detect all 3 dedicated graphical cards I tried (2 6850s and 1 GTX 650 Ti, all working on a similar spec MSI MB). I could only use the integrated HD 2500 from the i5-3450 CPU. I could use the x4 PCIE slot to post.
Pros: cheap, nothing else
Cons: 1 pcie x16, the other is only x4, pcie x16 failed from day 1, pcie x1 not compatible with any internal wireless card (tplink, asus that i have tried), very bad writing manual, troubleshooting has nothing meaningful, i have to search online for all the symptoms i encountered
