Summary: This mother board does NOT support AMD. I just noticed it said AMD and that shouldn't be there. This board supports Intel CPU's. Anyway I honestly believe this is a good board. I had it for a while now and it still stands strong. This board supports LGA1155 chips, 22nm, with Ivy Bridge. It's not a or its a ~ with ~ for the CPU's. It handles very nicely and nothings happened with it so far. Good money spent on this right here.
Summary: I was very disappointed with this motherboard as there are no drivers available for Linux( and there is no documentation telling you that) Neither the RAID nor on board LAN will work with Linux.
it is a enthusiast motherboard, and you should know what youre doing..

Summary: works as designed. attention should be paid to the type of CPU to be used, as the factory/manufacturer (Gigabyte) ships with a BIOS revision that does not support the 22nm (Ivy Bridge) i3/i5/i7 CPU's. you there fore must intend on using the earlier "Sandy bridge" (2xxx series - ie i5-2500 or 1st generation i-cores) i3/i5/i7 or have access to one in order to flash to the newer BIOS so you can use an Ivy Bridge CPU (3xxx series- ie i5 - 3570).
Summary: Because this was version 1.1 it was everything I hoped for and more! It has more than adequate internal connections for any and every purpose/add-on. It has the newer drivers and other software upgrades than the previous version and the color scheme is awesome!!!
Summary: I usually don't run into problems, so this is normal, but right now the system is using an Intel i3-3220 dual core 3.3ghz, 8gb of Corsair cas 8 1600mhz ram (1.5v), an Ati Powercolor 6870, an older samsung 750gb 3gb/s hard drive, and an Antec 650w power factor corrected supply. Everything ran on the first post. The system even ran well before installing the intel drivers or chipset drivers, and of course it ran much better after installing them.
Summary: Well as I ordered up an entire PC - 3770k, Evga 680 etc etc and this motherboard. Naturally I was ready to get my build complete - and I must say the motherboard looked great installed, unfortunately it did not function as well as it looked. No POST under any scenario - stripped it down down to just mobo, PSU, processor/fans and still nothing. PSU tested correctly with a voltmeter and I redid the processor/thermal paste twice just to double check.
Summary: Very nice and easy to install, Everything is well detailed on the manual and on the motherboard itself, it took me about 15min to install everything on it, no problems whatsoever and the BIOS is really cool 3D and all, Very easy to configure, Overclock and all that im not a tech savy but is really easy to use. it also have a lot of USB ports.
Summary: I have been using this mother board for about 6 weeks and it is impressive to say the least! First of all you can definitly overclock with this board. Second it has a msata slot which is great for having a fast low profile sourse for your operating system. IT WORKS KIE A CHARM IF YOUR BUILDING A HACKINTOSH. AND the second PCI slot is 16x running at 16x for SLI. You can find plenty of motherboards that can do all this and more, but not at this price.
Summary: I am able to play everything I want to. BF3, CoD, WoW, Diablo all on ultra settings no problem. CPU runs about 32 - 34 degrees Celsius. No overclocking or anything like that.
