Pros: Good feature set.
Cons: Didn't last, started to randomly put monitor to sleep, and then got to the point it would continuously cycle rebooting, never getting to the bios. Very disappointed, first MOBO I've ever had fail.
Summary: I had a similar loop problem with my Gigabyte GA-Z68AP-D3, which I RMA'd. Gigabyte fixed that and it has been running OK for a year. I have two newer Gigabyte motherboards and hope I not facing the same with them.
Pros: Worked fine for over 13 months.
Cons: Out of the blue, my computer went into a on/off loop: on a few seconds, off a few. Over and over - seemingly no attempt to load my Win 7 system. I've checked CPU, memory and PSU, all good. Cleared CMOS, stripped board of GPU, SATA/USB connections, case connections - none of which helped. I guess ...
Summary: The motherboard would not even past POST when it was installed. Processor and memory that I used worked fine as I purchased an ASUS MB to complete my project. Amazon return policy was great! They arranged the pick up and my refund was posted within a day.
Summary: After about 6 months, I'm fighting the dreaded boot loops that everyone seems to be getting with this board. For the money, and for what this board offers, there are many other boards that are stable and have more options.
Cons: -after newest Bios Update it have so many Bugs, sometimes you start the pc, nothing happen. than you have to complete shut off the energy on your power supply, wait 10 seconds and than give energy and start the pc again. now it starts. -the usb ports onbord works some times, some times they dont....
Summary: Onboard LAN failed within the first two months, filled out RMA request but never heard anything. Used PCI NIC as a workaround because I NEED my pc. Worked fine for a while but then the PCI bus began locking up and all my expansion cards ceased functioning until a complete system power off.
Cons: Began failing within 2 months, gigabyte never issued RMA after filling out online form, just filled out the RMA form again as system has completely failed. NO ADVANCE EXCHANGE AVAILABLE (if they do ever respond to RMA) guess I'll be without a system for a few weeks..........that's ok, I only do t...
Summary: I am tier II on call for xmas @ my company, and now i have to go out and buy another board as I don't have a backup computer to allow me to remote into work. I would love to just get my money back at this point, which is not going to happen being a year to the day just about since i got the board.
Pros: When it worked, it was good.
Cons: The random reboots are a pain. Having to leave my PC on just so I do not run into that issue seems like a terrible workaround, but i have done it for the past year and worked up until today. Today it will no longer boot, ever after pulling all but one memory module, clearing cmos, swapped memory,...
Cons: I updated Award Bios to UEFI Bios and windows 8 memory score dropped from 7.9 to 5.9. I contacted to support (which you can only reach through the internet, no phone number, and you have to wait two-three business day to get an answer), and their support was that I can revert back to Award Bios. ...
Summary: In the past, per my suggestion, we have purchased Gigabyte products in our A+ classes. I am severely reconsidering advising purchase of Gigabyte boards in the future due to this apparent reoccurring problem with this manufacturer.
Pros: Five months without a problem ... until all he!! broke loose.
Cons: Let me start off by saying I am a site computer technician for a technical college and I am responsible for almost 600 computers there. I have been a PCT since 1984. Having said that, this is my personal PC and I have NEVER had a mobo like this that makes me want to pull my hair out. This is the ...
