Summary: First one shipped was Dead on arrival. I tried several different combinations of power suppliers but nothing worked with the First one, got that RMA'ed. The second one was working for a while then issues started. First the NIC went out, so i installed a second one on pci. Then USB ports stopped working. Now the dreaded bootloop comes after I installed a second GPU.
Summary: This mobo had everything I needed and has worked flawlessly since I bought it a little over a year ago. I was delighted to have zero problems the first time setting everything up. I'm pretty sure it has a built-in recovery BIOS as well in the event something goes haywire. I was relieved that there isn't much bend when mounting some of your heavier components such as a large video card.
Summary: First off, I loved the look of this board. The uniform darkness pulled me in and I continued the theme with black Corsair memory and water cooler. It worked pout of the box and ran uneventfully for about 14 months, at which point it began boot looping. I RMA'd it and got it back two weeks ago - it is running well again. Another feature that attracted me was that it had more than 2 SATA III ports and more than 6 SATA ports. The price was good and it included a rebate.
Summary: A lot of flexibility with what you need, and what you want to plug in. I liked that it has a HDMI output and shared graphics, a lot of expansion ports, and the board was thicker (heavy duty). Put it in a good case with cooling air flow and it has preformed flawlessly for over the last year. Running Windows 7 Pro (EOM), with 16 gig memory (4x4), and 2- 750 gig mirrored WD drives, with an Intel I5-2500 possessor (stock fan).
Summary: The motherboard would not even past POST when it was installed. Processor and memory that I used worked fine as I purchased an ASUS MB to complete my project. Amazon return policy was great! They arranged the pick up and my refund was posted within a day.
Summary: After about 6 months, I'm fighting the dreaded boot loops that everyone seems to be getting with this board. For the money, and for what this board offers, there are many other boards that are stable and have more options.
