doesn't SLI

FiestyHermit, Amazon
11 August 2014
  • Summary: Came doa but that is another matter. Stars missing because it doesn't have the proper slots to run two proper video cards which is what the rest of the world considers SLI/Crossfire. I'm returning this and getting something decent that does what it says and properly.

Pretty Amazing Motherboard

Daniel F., Newegg
23 October 2013
  • Summary: I've had this board for over 2 years and it has served consistently well over the entire duration of its life. It's handled OCing both my SLI GPU's and my i5 2500k without any problems. Altogether, this is a very reliable board that has served its purpose. Gigabyte makes wonderful parts.
  • Pros: SLI/Crossfire Compatible Handles OCing Well Everything Is Spaced Out Well Price Is Right
  • Cons: Pretty Old By Now

User Review

1 September 2013
  • Pros: Nice solid mothrboard with a lot of features.
  • Cons: I couldn’t install the drives from the SD and the drives from gigabyte side were confusing with additional unnecessary programs. Every couple months it drop the new type of RIAD witch use a SSD as cache and force me to reinstall the OS, and it has a very slow booting.

Very nice board..

Michael Ewer, Amazon
25 March 2013
  • Summary: Board is very nice and worked perfect. Bios looks ancient as hell though, and I do not like the placement of the sata plugs in compared to my new board. However works like it is supposed to and I would buy it again if need be.

Good while it works, BUYER BEWARE

Andrea S., Newegg
18 November 2012
  • Summary: I regret buying this junk. I had an Asus P5N-D that I tried every kind of overclock with and everytime it failed you know what happened? The board worked and powered as it should. I did NOT attempt any overclocking with this one cause I felt it had the sufficient power and speed.
  • Pros: Sli and Crossfire compatiable
  • Cons: I purchased this board with an i7 2600k processor 6 months ago. I noticed a couple weeks ago that the system would not start up properly after a shut down done through windows. I got around this by pulling the power cable and holding the power button for 30 seconds. Didn't bother me cause the sys...
