Summary: this is the ONLY motherboard by gigabyte that i've had fail on me... I had it all hooked up and it ran fine for 24 hours Then, after installing some updates on Windows7, this thing died on me. it was stuck in a reboot loop. Replaced the motherboard, the PC worked fine again.
Summary: i guess i am a bit biased. since buying my first Gigabyte MB a few years back i will never buy another brand again. quality is excellent. features are excellent. if you want to muck with this thing and overclock the heck out of your build, Gigabyte is the way to go. Just don't go crazy or you will find yourself with alot of fried components. Just remember....lots of cooling...lots of fans. Great support from their website. Easy install. just what I needed.
Summary: For the price, this board had everything I was looking for- namely SATA 6Gb/s and USB 3 ports. I don't do any video encoding, so the lack of onboard video was no issue. Build quality is excellent and the board feels fairly sturdy when installing the heatsink for the CPU; I'm using a stock Intel cooler. I have yet to test it with a newer video card (currently running an old Geforce 9500 GT) but so far so good for gaming.
