Summary: Gigabyte LGA1366 SATA3 ATI CrossFireX ATX Motherboard GA-X58A-UD3R Been working with this board for a while with no problems in win7 32 bit. I was finally ready to upgrade my system to a 64 bit when all hell broke loose. I assumed the bios update would be a beneficial move, so I downloaded, and updated to version F7. Do not do it! The looping started and the bios is locked. Now every time windows loads after the third boot.
Summary: I built a new system based on this board, and everything worked fine except that it won't "warm boot"; that is, after you shut it down, it won't power back on unless you unplug it first. So I bought a new motherboard -- exact same model -- and the new board wouldn't boot at all. It lights for 4 seconds, shuts off for 4 seconds, then lights up for 4 seconds, shuts off again... etc., until you pull the power.
Summary: Found out the hard way after installing everything that this board doesn't support I7-930. I did my homework and checked Gigabyte's website before I purchased this and it listed the 930 as a supported processor. Gigabyte CS was very unhelpful. They refused to take responsibility, they kept blaming was Amazon's stock was old and does not have the updated BIOS.
