Good replacement at a nice price. Only 4 USB ports, though!

Summary: Bought this as a replacement for a board that fried. It's a nice upgrade that includes USB 3.0 ports in back. My only compliant is there are only 4 USB ports total. This means if you are using a USB keyboard and mouse you only have 2 free ports on the board. That being said, a very nice product.
Summary: While this is a SATA 3, PCIe-3 motherboard, be aware that it only has one SATA 3 plug inside of it. So if you run two hard drives, only one can run at SATA 3 speeds, and the second hard drive can only run at SATA 2 speeds. A very bad road block.
Summary: I had a problem with the Kingston memory I tried to use with this motherboard it cause a boot loop where it would start to boot up then hang up at the bios load up screen turn itself off then on again over and over until the power supply was switched off. I solved the problem by swapping in some GSkill memory from another pc. The Kingston memory works fine in the other asus motherboard.
Summary: I selected this Mobo because it would accommodate the I7 Intel CPU and it seems to be functioning well and was quite adequate for up to 5 SATA connections. Please note however, that if you have a need for a firewire connection that it will require a separate card installed -- although that is not very expensive.

Summary: Man this mobo is great, only problem is that it does not have onboard video out for the cpu, but who cares? Who is going to buy a full size atx board like this and then use the cpu? This motherboard has great bios and has immediately identified everything I have thrown at it perfectly. You can not beat Gigabyte quality, and at this price, it is a no brainer. Best mobo evar!
