Pros: Honestly none, no redeeming features from any other cheap board.
Cons: Tolerated the board for a year. Constant blue screen, freezing, bootloop etc... if it blue screened around 3 times windows would corrupt and would require a full reformat/install. Countless hours of debugging ram, cpu, HDD, PSU etc which all worked fine. Finally have an asus board coming in, just...
Summary: Thank you, Gigabyte, for helping me decide that my next board will absolutely NOT be a GB board. There are so many other manufacturers out there who make a board equally, if not better than, yours AND THEY ACTUALLY SUPPORT IT with tech support that answers their customers' questions.
Pros: Stable board...if you run BIOS F4 or lower Solid state caps More than decent board components
Cons: Gigabyte support just plain horrific. I went online and did their little hoop-jumping to ask about the problem of why BIOS F4, or lower, POSTs and boots just fine but BIOS F5, or higher, says there is no OS on the drive (but flashing back to F4, the system boots without a hiccup). I did initially...
Summary: This was my first build, and the only thing I'll give to this board was that it worked for long enough that I was able to learn some important things from its flaws and what I consider failure.
Pros: On paper this is a great board for the price. Unfortunately that's as far as it goes.
Cons: I've checked every piece of my computer several times over, and this is the only remaining variable. Upon arrival I had to deal with the infamous reboot loop issues (which I was able to fix), but after only a few months my PC began to freeze and stutter; at this point, after roughly one year of o...
Cons: My PC randomly freezes. No BSOD, just a frozen screen. I have to restart the computer and then of course I get the boot loop! I have tried different hard drives and cables, I even updated the BIOS and drivers. This is just a bad motherboard!
Summary: This board is a waste of money. I'm writing this review on my phone because I didn't really want to start my system and wait just to write this review. the only reason I still using it is because I can't afford to send it back and be without a of during that time.
Pros: it only takes 5 minutes to get past the BIOS screen everytime I start or restart the system. Doing updates that require a reboot is always fun. once windows takes over booting things are normal I guess. I haven't had the endless boot loop yet. that's. a pro, right.
Cons: I've always liked and used Gigabyte boards buying doubt that will continue. After the boot time problem there are the random glitches that happen. When lucky the screen will only black for a couple of seconds and come back with notice that a driver crashed. different drivers each time. usually th...
Pros: Easy to build a Snow Leopard hackintosh around it.
Cons: Bought it in Apr/May time frame 2011. I use my PC as a develop machine for iOS applications. For this purpose, I have to reduce the CPU multiplier from 34x to 33x due to Snow Leopard issue. The reboot loop issue was there from the 1st month. I have to manually cleared the boot flash every few wee...
Cons: unfortuntely I am having the same bootloop problem that others are facing, I tried to download @bios to upgrade to F7 but when it gets to 100% @bios crashes.. I can't believe Gigabyte would allow this motherboard to still be sold with all of the problems people are having
This motherboard caused the worst upgrade experince of my life

Summary: DO NOT buy this board. Some reviews on here love but I say do not take the chance because if you get a bad one it will not go well for you. Save yourself the time and energy and stay away from this. It cost me time I’d rather have spent elsewhere and money I didn’t really have.
Cons: It worked for about 5 days and then it ruined my brand new corsair PSU and my video card in my game machine that I had to replace out of pocket. While just loading windows PSU fan went on max so I restarted thinking it was a fluke. 3 days later I’m playing a game and PSU and video card fans crank...
Summary: Not sure if it's the chipset or this individual board design, but failure seems to be a regular occurance. Reboot loops, random bluescreens, memory manager failures, failure to POST, inability to update BIOS, the list goes on and on.
Pros: Great features, good price
Cons: Unreliable. Non-existent support and overly complex RMA process without cross-shipping or secured pre-shipping. Rate of failure on boards is too high. I have RMA'd my board already, but with a 3 business week minimum turnaround time, plus shipping, I'm unwilling to wait that long without a workin...
