Summary: I chose this board because it offered me a great set of options for for a good price and because it was supposed to be easily 'hackintoshable'. True to the word, it was a breeze to set up, it's been working flawlessly in my hackintosh for more than a year now. The audio chipset on this rev 2.0 board was different from the rev 1.0 model but still easy to set up. I havent used the crossfire feature but for everything else, it's served me well thus far.
Summary: This is an incredible board. It was purchased to install OSX on (as Gigabyte boards are perfect for hackintosh builds) and with only the smallest amount of tweaking I am currently writing this review from OSX. I had to RMA the board as it stopped working while transferring to another computer case, but since I was not wearing my anti-static gloves (the ONE time...seriously...) I am thinking it could be that I wasn't properly grounded.
Summary: I have been using this motherboard for a couple months now. I am running an i7 870 processor with a GTX460 OC graphics card. I build a new computer every couple years and this was the easiest yet. It is running off a 650W Antec power supply and even has a BluRay burner. It does everything they say it will and the installation was a breeze. This is my first Gigabyte board and I liked it because of the 2 oz copper power planes, sata3 & usb3.
Summary: When I decided I wanted to upgrade my system, I decided I wanted something that would carry over for a little while. This board has USB 3 capabilities. It has a lot of expansion slots and a lot of USB/SATA connectors. It's a good looking board, if that's a consideration, and it is set up nicely with the space allowed. It doesn't have onboard graphics, but I never run without a video card, so that wasn't a consideration for me.
Summary: I had been looking for a Motherboard that wasn't overly expensive and found this one with all the main features of the more expensive ones like USB 3.0, it was very easy to install and everything was nicely labeled, however take notice that I did one mistake which was that I neglected the 8 Pin connector right next to the CPU Fan, if you do not connect this to the Power Supply the computer will start and then shut down after 1 second, so take note of this as it was my...
Summary: I bought this board as the base of a high end gaming rig. Installation, use, drivers, everything was a breeze. One of the best Motherboard's ive ever used. Currently running an i7 965 overclocked setup with dual 5870s. It runs fantastic.
