Excellent HTPC board
Todd E., Newegg
20 June 2015
Pros: Worked flawlessly out of the box! Has enough SATA ports to support use even in a home server. Easy update of the bios. I used it for both an HTPC and a server build and it endured long periods of up time like a champ!
Cons: I can't think of anything that really bothered me with this board.
Summary: I guess after 7 years of faithful service, it's about time to upgrade anyway. 7 years is ancient in Moore's world.
Pros: It worked well while it lasted.
Cons: Died after almost 7 years. But this might have not been because of the board, but because of static electricity. I guess I'll never know why it stopped working, but I'm guessing the latter since it was working before I moved houses, and didn't work after I moved. Something must have gone wrong in...
Summary: This MB has made me not even think twice on if I should buy from Gigabyte. I also bought a different Gigabyte MB from New Egg 2 years ago because this one wasnt available any more. It was for another build and it's also been going strong for 2 years now.
Pros: Still going strong after 4 1/2 years! I love this board.!
Summary: Because this board has been so good to me, I always choose GIGABYTE boards when building PCs for friends and clients, regardless of the faulty LAN port, which I replaced with an Intel PCI-E x1 Gigabit LAN card. On-board XGA is fine for the average user but 3D performance leaves much to be desired.
