  • Summary: At the end of the day the GA-K8N Ultra-9 is a very solid motherboard for anyone interested in a non-SLI based motherboard. While it doesn't come with any extra hardware like GigaByte's UPLUS DPS or GN-WPKG Wireless Adapter , it does feature onboard sound and ethernet as well as two SATA RAID controllers. The Xpress Install Utility works wonderfully and is literally a single click installation of all crucial software. The M.I.B.

  • Conclusion: Considering that the board shared the exact same details as the GA-K8NXP-9, there was little left to debate. The same problems from the compacted memory controllers and component headers are evident here as well. However, there isn't much that can be done due to the way the board is laid out.
