Summary: I purchased this for my first computer build. The installation manual was helpful and fairly well written, a more important issue for me than an experienced builder. I would recommend downloading the manual from the Gigabyte website as the diagrams and photos are much clearer than in the printed manual. I installed Ubuntu 12.04 LTS 64 bit as my operating system without any problems and it is working great.
Summary: Have had this board over six month's so far and not even a hiccup! Works Great the bios was i little different than i was used to but you can turn off the 3d bios and it's the same as any other board! I don't overclock so this works a well as any Z77 board at a better price! paired with a SSD Operating drive i get 15 to 28 sec boot times! My first gigabyte product won't be my last!
Summary: Hummmmm... what can I say? I picked up this card during a sale and it really is working nicely. It was cheap, but it's awesome with the i5 I got with it for my budget gamer PC. For everyday user it's a must.
Summary: Bought it to use with my new computer - Intel i7 3770, nVidia GeForce GTX 660, 16GB of RAM, Crucial M4 SSD etc. It works with all those components just fine. Installed Windows and Ubuntu without problems so far. It's also very easy to upgrade BIOS - just copy the file into a USB drive, press and hold End key when starting. I'd recommend upgrading to new firmware as soon you receive the motherboard.

Summary: I had a good experience building on this board. One alluring feature I have yet to actually try is the mSATA slot for a small-form-factor SSD drive. The BIOS is easy to work with, and even includes mouse support. The wonders of modern technology. The only problems I had were my own minor errors. I hadn't built a "modern" machine (this century) so I did not know about the 4-pin motherboard power connector.
