Great board, worked out of the box, detailed manual

Summary: I would give 5 starts, however, there were only two sata data cables included. So to install my OS I had to leave one of my hard disks unconnected, and now I have my two hard disks connected but not my optical drive. Minor annoyance. Don't let it stop you from buying (just buy some extra sata cables if you need them).
Summary: Good mobo for a variety of OS's. Working with Commodore OS Vision, NetBSD, and even Darwin. Wouldnt mind Gigabyte supporting Darwin OS. Plus, if they could port the ON/OFF software they have for iPhone to Darwin, I would be overjoyed.
Summary: Bought this to use for my custom Hackintosh build and it does not disappoint. The hardware is excellent quality and overall very good for the money. The best surprise was finding out it has an mSATA connector on board so there is no need for cables running all over the tower. The biggest negative is that the board claims support for the fastest DDR3 RAM but never clocks it fast enough.
Summary: I bought one of these to build a quick inexpensive i5 PC. I didn't want a board for overclocking or anything crazy because I have another board for that. I am building this PC just for web surfing, bill paying, light gaming, etc. Overall the board is very nice. The memory specifications on it are a little lacking for now, but it is a budget board. The first one I received had bent Pins in the lower right hand corner of the CPU slot.
Summary: Very good card. You can customize many options through the BIOS. The only bad thing is that it does not allow OC, but if you will use it (as in my case) with the default values for processor and memory, highly recommend.
Summary: When I built my new computer with this motherboard, I was forced to use a 32 bit copy of Windows XP on it, as that was all I had. I initially had some trouble getting the driver for the integrated LAN to work, but once I did the computer performed great. I then purchased a 64 bit copy of Windows 7 Professional to make full use of the 64 bit motherboard and 8 GB of memory I installed. That was when my trouble really started.
Excellent board for those not needing overclocking

Summary: I had been waiting to upgrade my aging Q6600 setup for when Ivy Bridge came out, and when it finally did it was time to settle on a motherboard. After searching the various motherboard vendors I finally settled on this H77 full ATX motherboard, which, while it has its layout issues, has otherwise been a fine choice.
