Summary: This is in a cooler master n130 with an amd a10 quad core with the 140mm water cooler. It has 8 GB of RAM and a 2 TB hard drive. It is being used as effectively a HTPC in a bedroom connected to a 38 inch spectre television. I bought it intending to use two such TVs. However, this proved unnecessary since I am running Ubuntu.
Summary: Great motherboard for fm2 socket AMD processors. the fastest AMD motherboard I used to date, using a A10-6800K processor in this motherboard and running 1866MHz memory not a single problem. in order run it at higher speeds i had to use water cooling. it was constantly over heating and freezing up with stock cooler in small case.
Summary: It is a very good looking and well done board. The wireless works great, and is dual band. The wireless card also has Bluetooth built-in, Overclocking is pretty strait forward, and using the uefi bios is easy. There are a lot of great features put into this tiny board.
Summary: I bought this to use with my AMD A8-5500 CPU to use as a web surfing, document processing, light photo editing, downloading PC. The board itself seems very solid with no issues so far, except when I was installing the network drivers from the included drivers CD they were not being recognized so I had to find it on the Gigabyte website. The board is pretty easy to work with even without the front panel connectors being labelled you just use the manual as a guideline.
Summary: Used with AMD A10 6800k CPU. Impressed with BIOS and overall feel, though CPU is a bit too close to RAM slots and PCIe slot - makes CPU cooler upgrade more difficult. The main issue for me is that it doesn't like SATA2 SDD. SATA3 and SATA2 are supposed to be compatible, and at first it worked fine. However after a few reboots it gave an error and won't boot. I checked the SSD with my old SATA2 motherboard and it works without any problems.
Summary: easy install, main 4 pin is a little too close to the pci slot so could be problematic regarding choice of video card, however HD7750 installed alongside an A10 6800k without much trouble, just requires careful cable management to keep things tidy (bitfenix prodigy build) Drivers all installed well, both the Bluetooth and wi-fi work great and it took the Corsair vengeance GB LP 2133mhz without any issues (just changed the XMP in BIOs and it runs quite happily all day at...
