I bought this board for a budget build... It was the EP43T-Ud3L version 1.1 with DDr3, otherwise essentially identical in every way to the Ep43-Ud3l DDr2 memory board. Spent very little on it, brand new on Ebay.
Put it through the ringer, regarding overclocking, with two different Intel LGA-775 CPU's; the Pentium dual core E6600 3.06GHz 1066FSB, and the E8500 Core Duo 3.16 GHz 1333FSB...
This board never bottle necked any of the speed I sought from those CPU's, and I've been running at 1665MHz FSB, 4GHz with the E8500 for 6 months straight now.
There are very, very few motherboards that will yield you a Windows 7 user experience index rating in the 7.X range that you can buy brand new for a price as affordable as this board's was.
Gigabyte delivered a first class WIN with the EP43-UD3L and it's DDR3 counterpart the EP43T-UD3L
Noteworthy bang for the buck
