Summary: I bought this motherboard as a replacement for one of my other AM3 motherboards because of the additional DIMM slots. I needed 16GB of memory and it was cheaper to buy a new motherboard than to get high density memory. I have not played with the thrills of this motherboard since this was for a server. I can comment on the reliability and energy efficiency however. It has been rock solid all this time.

Summary: I recently built a new system. Here is a quick run down of the specs: - This motherboard - Intel Core 2 Duo 2.8GHz (board also supports Core 2 Quad chips) - 4GB RAM (x2 2GB sticks) - Linksys Wireless PCI - Firewire PCI - 450W PSU - Antec mATX Case - x2 500GB Seagate HDD (SATA) - DVD-R/RW & CD-R/RW (SATA) I run Ubuntu 9.04 Jaunty Jackalope on this system. Everything worked out of the box. One of the things I like about this is the on-board nVidia GeForce 9400GT.
