Incredible value, especially for an OpenELEC HTPC or Linux PC and even decent in Windows 7

Summary: Gigabyte will soon release the C1037U version of this motherboard but meanwhile this is a fantastic deal for a motherboard to run OpenELEC, Linux Mint or even a Windows 7 nettop if you don't have a lot of expectations around compute power. I did not try Windows 8.1 but I've heard it performs much better than Windows 7 on this platform. The Celeron C1007U CPU in this motherboard is about 50% faster than the C847 and about 3x faster than the Atom.
Summary: Really good small form factor lowest wattage with enough power and some to spare for daily computing needs. Stable, and fast. Good deal blows a intel atom out of the water. The intel graphics much improved. I am using for car pc running from 12volts power.
Summary: It is slower than the Intel Core i3-2370M that is in my laptop but it uses less than half of the power of the i3-2370M and handles everyday tasks well. It also performs much better than the ASRock E350M1 with the AMD E-350 APU which uses more than twice the power of the new motherboard with the embedded Intel CPU.
Very fast, virtualization technology works great!!

Summary: I spent much time reviewing motherboards with low power consumption. I decided on the Gigabyte with the Celeron 1007U processor for the durability and quality build they advertised. Also, online benchmark sites show that this CPU is faster than the Celeron 847 model which costs about $4 less. Note, I am not into games, this is a work from home PC.
Summary: Gigabyte product is reliable. Running for a few days with any issue. Stable and runs smoothly. Good motherboard as a HTPC or NAS. If it can provide more SATA ports, it will be a very good NAS MB. So far, it's price is very reasonable.
