Summary: I currently have three of these GA-B85-D3h units functioning. They are all great examples of Gigabytes expertise. I'm not a gamer, but this board serves my home and business needs extremely well.
Summary: Great entry level workstation board. Has two PCI slots for pro audio cards. Supports the Intel Haswell refresh E3 Xeon CPU and has a socket for the Trusted Platform Module. Although four RAM slots are available, there is no support for ECC memory.
Pros: High quality construction Low cost of ownership Small size Good looks Supports Intel E3 Xeon
Cons: Limited clearance around CPU socket No Thunderbolt port No mini display port No ECC RAM support
Summary: Works great for me, I see a couple people saying DOA and I feel for them, however this motherboard works great for me. I'm using it in a gaming rig (after my old one died) and used this mobo to build a new PC from the ground up (minus my old GPU and HDD).
Summary: This is a nice board for a basic build. This is NOT a power gaming motherboard so don't expect it to be one. It looks great and features the ultra-durable features you expect from Gigabyte. I got this for a new office rig for running image processing etc.
Pros: m-ATX with lots of functionality. Front USB3.0 header, 4 RAM slots, great controller set. Does not include a lot of unnecessary cables etc. Really attractive black color. Design includes the ultra-durable features we've come to expect from Gigabyte's UD series.
