Summary: After bench testing in basic formation I added 4 extra drives and sata port 3 will not acknowledge any hhd or cable configuration. Opened ticket with gigabyte. Hours of testing and investigation and concluded the socket is bad or part of the circuit for that socket is bad. More details to come if I find more helpful information. I am not happy with the quality.

Summary: The revision I received still have Intel SBA. Depending on your lucky, you may get a board that has it removed. Lots of empty space near top of PCB with nothing there. BIOS chip is not removable. If you have a newer CPU and the BIOS chip fails and the second BIOS chip is too old, the only solution is to send to Gigabyte. Don't expect the board to come back for at least a few weeks.
Don't buy any Gigabyte products, this is coming from a medium sized computer manufacturing company.

Summary: Gigabyte is going straight down hill with their product quality. They used to make a solid, reliable product and now 50+% of their MBs and components my computer manufacturing company purchases do no pass our initial testing with a good handful dieing months out. Stay away and go with MSI, Asus, and ASRock. Much more reliable for current times. We have dropped GB as a product supplier from our entire business.
