Ehh, it's still...kind...of...working?!

Travis, Amazon
29 January 2015
  • Summary: I bought this to replace a higher-end Intel board that got fried by a bad power supply. I needed something quick and cheap and boy did I get it. I must have gotten a bad board because its really limited for me. I have 16gb kit that will only work in certain slots and runs in single channel.

2 dimm slots doa

Chuck, Amazon
20 December 2013
  • Summary: Seemed like a nice enough board, but two of the dimm slots caused blue screens and errors during men test. The other two slots worked fine. Yippee for Amazon's easy return process.

Meh...

T. Tran "trant", Amazon
15 December 2013
  • Summary: After a lot of video problems with this, I concluded that it isn't compatible with my Radeon 7770 card. And I found out later that it wasn't just with the 7770, but any discrete video card (tried the Gigabyte R7 260X). One worked only for 10 mins or so, and one card didn't work at all.

Audio Jack crapped out

Jonathan S., Newegg
28 May 2013
  • Pros: Easy to set up, small in my case gives more room for air to circulate.
  • Cons: Audio Jack crapped out on me. The driver was installed correctly but it wasn't able to detect the aux cable plugged in. Sometimes has issues booting. Not that big of a setback. I just hold the power button for 5 seconds. Wait 30 seconds. Power on, it restarts after 5 seconds, then boots properly....

XMP does not work

Robert R., Newegg
15 March 2013
  • Summary: I have opened a support request with Gigabyte and I guess we'll see how quickly this is addressed. I'm incredibly disappointed. I don't want to have to spend a bunch of time returning the board and finding something else, and I like Gigabyte as a manufacturer.
  • Pros: Inexpensive. Decent feature set.
  • Cons: XMP will not work with current Ivy Bridge CPUs. I suspect the problem is the BIOS is ancient. The production BIOS shipping on this board is F12 from October 2012. There is a beta BIOS F13g from November 2012. I am running a Celeron G1610 released in January 2013. It is a 22 nm Ivy Bridge part. I ...

B75M-D3H boot issue

Bobby J., Newegg
27 December 2012
  • Summary: I will see about RMA and try once more if possible. This is a Christmas present for someone that is now a bust.
  • Pros: Has all the right features for a build-your-own system. Not a high-end gamer system but a good work horse.
  • Cons: Will not boot. It seems to install Win 7 pro (32 or 64bit) and when the final boot after setup will never get past bios splash and just loops and loops. Basic board with no video card or strange options. Tried different memory, different brand hard drive, different brand DVD drive. Tested with di...

Get what you pay for, I guess.

Gary M., Newegg
12 December 2012
  • Pros: Great price for the features offered.
  • Cons: Stone dead on arrival. Wouldn't really be a problem if it weren't for a Christmas gift build.

FYI

Brad W., Newegg
27 September 2012
  • Summary: YES, I did Know I needed a processor that had intergrated graphics. I used an Intel Pentium G620 Sandy Bridge 2.6GHz LGA 1155 65W Dual-Core Desktop Processor Intel HD GRAPHICS BX80623G620 which is on the CPU support list. So just maybe its a defective motherboard?
