Cons: Unfortunately this board is old, so I'm not sure Gigabyte cares anymore, but don't buy this for your 1155 HTPC! I was going to make a Hackintosh with an i7-3770K, but after installation and setup, the board started to boot cycle, with no access to the BIOS. "Dual BIOS" feature seems to have faile...
Summary: Best I have ever bought on this site, I got the MoBo and I just put everything together on my PC hoping just to have the PC turned on. On my surprise as I have Ubuntu :), my computer started as nothing happened and I got my previous configuration with nothing new to add or change.
Cons: This motherboard kept rebooting over and over and wouldn't even get to the bios screen. This is my second Gigabyte motherboard I have had problems with. when I reorder I will try another brand. My old standby Asus has never failed me.
Summary: Works as expected. Only problem is Gigabyte's sata driver needs to be installed for Windows 7 to be able to boot up after install, and that driver didnt work. I didnt try to bother to slip stream it, so I went with Windows 10. All good so far.
Summary: This is a very, very powerful board. The BIOS are user friendly and allow for a lot of manipulation. It is constructed out of solid material and in my experience (as opposed to some other user reviews) I have not found any faulty ports at the time of this writing.
Summary: Hassle free install, been working 100% Fine. Wish it had a PCI Express X1 (The Small one) slot for my SB Audigy, but I knew it didn't when I ordered, was the best card in the price range without spending another $100 or so for one that had a PCI Express slot.
Summary: first time builder and this MoBo is outstanding. built well, excellent features and gig has loads of diagnostic software that will take me 6 months to learn. the only complaint is i would like another 4 pin fan plug on it.
Summary: Used as the base for a high performance, silent desktop system. Has been almost flawless. Everything fit as it should...processor, memory sticks, video card, etc. BIOS is easy to configure and has every option I needed, including Intel virtualization support.
