Good Motherboard / UPDATE: Horrible Board & Company

Summary: Overall, for my first build it's a great motherboard.. The bios is pretty nice as well, better than the standard text displays.. Has actual graphics built in with a menu that you can use your mouse to control. Has lots of options that I haven't seen in standard store bought computers..
Pros: Works great, I'm a new PC builder and this was my first computer build.. Everything seems to be working except for a couple things which were more just annoyances than anything. Not worth an RMA in my opinion
Cons: OK so here's why I took an egg off.. Everything worked great when I first loaded Windows 8.1 OEM on my system.. I reboot, and then suddenly the speaker on the motherboard shoots out this high pitched frequency and wouldn't stop.. I flashed a new update to the bios and it still does it.. A really ...
Summary: I replaced it with an Asus M5A99Fx board, love it!
Pros: Noe over any other board.
Cons: I purchased an Asus AC-68 pci x1 high end wireless adapter, which I could not install because of the location of the PCI x1 slot. the heat sink for the north bridge was in the way. Also, the board failed less that a month into operation!
Cons: owned this board for 9 mo 6 mo back and forth to gigabyte I tried to deal with them to no avail cept sending the board back saying there was nothing wrong with it I paid all the shipping would never buy this board again

Summary: Bought this board to build a PC for my friend. Everything was fine. Built the PC, installed Windows 10, activated it and all. It downloaded some updates and restarted. After, it's been stuck on the BIOS splash screen and won't go past that.
Summary: I bought this to replace my year old GA990FXA-UD3 because it was newer, returning this UD5, replacing it with my old UD3, much more reliable.
Pros: Fast Nice layout, typical of Gigabyte boards, Bought as update to newer version of board. Bad Idea.
Cons: Board has trouble locating usb drivers upon initial installation of Win7, Had to hunt awhile to find appropriate drivers, this board is NOT for an inexperienced builder. Using a program and the usb at the same time is almost a guaranteed crash.
Summary: I've used Gigabyte motherboards a number of times in builds and have liked them, but this one has really disappointed me. I seriously considered sending it back immediately, I thought a BIOS upgrade might help, but now that a new BIOS is released, again I can't install it, same old problem.
Pros: Looks nice Holds 4 pci-e x16 cards Lots of SATA ports AM3+
Cons: BIOS is flakey (I tried an upgrade when I purchased it and it failed. Only with some major internet searching could I get the "DUAL Bios" to reflash a working version. From time to time, it goes into a reboot loop that can only be exited by putting a 4gb simm in the place of the 8gb I normally us...
Cons: Motherboard failed. I bought 2 of them from Fry electronics then after those crashed I got this one from newegg and everything was going fine then one day it just stopped booting up and all other hardware runs fine in my other system.
Pros: Great feature every thing i wanted in a motherboard
Cons: Worked awesome till 6 months out of warranty, The net work controller has stopped working. I love how companies make products that last just long enough to get past the warranty so you have to buy their product again. I guess a cheap ASUS is going in for now. -.-
Cons: ...ran decent never got a chance to ramp up the power though, although it seemed to not have the proper drivers on the disk it came with for the USB 3.o device driver..(which is more than odd) I had Compatibility checker on the site i built it on before ordering the parts there was no issues with...
