  • Summary: This is definitely one of the top boards produced by Gigabyte in year 2002! It has very nice features and it has definitely make me drool considering it for my workstation use. Featuring Gigabit Ethernet, USB 2.0, RAID (SATA and IDE), External bracket for SATA devices, it makes connectivity to other devices easier than before. It also has 6 channel audio, Dual RAID, Hyperthreading support (P4 3.06), Dual BIOS etc. There is also the Smart Card connector on board.

  • Conclusion: The new Gigabyte GA-8INXP Limited Edition is, all in all, a wonderful product. The board is just filled with all the best goodies that you'll ever want in a full ATX motherboard. However, the only gripe we had with the board is that it is a little too heavy on the storage side as it comes with support for up to 10 ATA devices. We would have preferred a little bit more balance and a FireWire controller would have been more appropriate.

Gigabyte 8INXP
