  • Conclusion: Well, although it didn’t come out as the overall leader of the pack in all of the tests, the DDR266 powered GA-8IEXP still performed well and was surprisingly stable even when I had all onboard options enabled. The Gigabyte GA-8IEXP is a board of boards when it comes to the utterly immense amount of features it comes along with.

  • Conclusion: All in all, the GA-8IEXP is a feature packed motherboard with all the built-in peripherals that you'll ever need. The full six PCI slots provided on the motherboard will serve to let the user add more goodies to the board but we think that it is sufficient to be a standalone product without any added peripherals (with the exception of a graphics card of course). Overclockers will like this board for its extensive adjustments to FSB and voltages.
