Summary: This motherboard replaced a failed ASUS motherboard in an 16 moths old HP computer. Had good support from GIGABYTE during the install process although response times were a bit slow (about 2 to 3 days). Performance appears good. I recommend the item.
Summary: I built 2 HTPCs with this motherboard (one for us and one for my mom), both work great! My mom's TV is older and doesn't have an HDMI out, so I put a video card in for her. The drawback I found (after building) is HDMI sound is 2.0 out (wasn't paying attention I guess!) so we use optical for sound (windows 7 sometimes switches between HDMI and optical for which it's sending, which is annoying - but that isn't the motherboard's fault).
Summary: I haven't used Micro ATX boards before, but this one caught my for being inexpensive, and it is made by Gigabyte, which I have always used. This board did not disappoint me one bit, it instantly knew what the processor was, and I didn't have to set up the RAM type, but I made sure the timings were correct.
Summary: Worderful motherboard. Says Crossfire support but has only one PCIex Port. Maybe I am too dumb to understand how another card will be connected... However, it would have been great had the RAM slots been a little farther away from the CPU. In my current state there is always way too much heat going onto the RAM modules. Other than that very great motherboard. Definitely worth buying.
Summary: I did a ton of home work before I bought this board. My build went well except for the fact I spent several hours trying to figure out how to install the cross fire with my Radeon Video card. Well come to find out cross fire only works with certain cards and the Dolby sound does not work with Windows 7. Its nice they write all the great stuff about the product and neglect to tell people that its half true.. How much of the other features are only half true?
