Never Stop Selling Gigbyte Products

EUGENE A., Newegg
3 September 2005
  • Summary: At first I had several issues with this board – issues that turn out to be a simple user error. Since then I have built a new gaming system utilizing this board; the system works flawlessly. It works so well that I doubt I will have to do ay major upgrades for at least the next 5 years.

Danny P., Newegg

  • Summary: I wrote a review earlier where I objected to the shaky quality and long RMA time for this board. Well as it turns out I was very wrong. I ordered another make motherboard from NewEgg (naturally) and experienced the same type of failure problems I had with the Gigabyte.

  • Summary: This motherboard offers good features, like 5.1 sound, ata150 and more, but the bios sucks for features like setting the video window, and overclocking. Not for powerusers!

Good, but a little picky

Phillip M., Newegg
5 August 2005
  • Summary: First of all, once you get this board up and running it works out very well, but getting there may be tricky. I re-used an athlon xp 2500+ and for a while it was only reading as 1.1ghz and not 1.8 .

  • Summary: Great motherboard for the price and just an overall good value. Had a much harder time as this motherboard significantly raised the temperatures in my case, but nothing that couldn't be solved.
