My old a.. AMD build MOBO

Aaron W., Newegg
25 April 2014
 • Pros: Worked like a champ and still lives on in a old tower! No longer feasible AGP 8x, Socket 462 etc. but could still run a basic surfing rig or Linux box well. Overclocked like a villain!!!
 • Cons: Pretty much obsolete...

 • Summary: This board, like most Gigabyte boards, are very nicely packaged. Great manual and accessories, etc... The only problem I had with it is no SATA drivers on a floppy for when installing windows new onto a SATA drive. I needed to extract the drivers onto a floppy using another computer. Newegg r0x0rs!

 • Summary: This was the first time for me to actually build my own pc and it went flawless. I see alot of complaints about some things but here are my specs. XP 3000, 1gb(512x2) Kingston 3200, Thermaltake 420w Pure Power, Thermaltake Volcano 12, FX 5700LE, and this thing is a monster.

 • Summary: Great Performing Motherboard... Took a while to "self-adapt" to my hardware configuration, but it works great! Seems to get faster as it "breaks in" over time... Gigabyte & Asus are the main motherboards I usually buy from Newegg, and both boards work Excellent!...

 • Summary: This is an awsome motherboard! It is fast, easy to set-up, and has many great features. The Dual BIOS is really cool, easytune4 is really cool to, and the other softwhere it comes with is nice. My only complaint is that it only holds 3GB of ram, but it still flys even with that!

 • Summary: Bought this for my fiance w/ Mobile AthlonXP 2500+ and the Hitachi SATA 150 80GB HDD. Runs real nice. This is my fifth Giga-Byte brand board. For the money, you cant beat it. Top Quality+Low Cost=Exceptional Value.

 • Summary: Great motherboard, I built 3 computers with it and had no problems so far. Set up was quick, and has alot of nice features. I only had a problem with my first board, it died from a power surge. Other than that I highly recomment this board. As always Newegg has great service.
