Summary: it has a qualcom nic instead of realtek limited cpu compatibility could not use AMD FX 4-Core Black Edition FX-4300 with it pros: price 6 sata ports vga and dvi other thoughts: put 8gb of ram a sempron 45w processor and 6 sata disks and this could be a decent NAS machine.

Summary: I had build several PC's by my own, But this MB is a waste of time and money, to make it work (still doesn't) you have to update the bios but you have to do it gradually first installing older versions of Bios, also have to install an older processor like an Athlon II ( it works with the athlon), but when you install a FX4 or FX6; the Mb does nothing, there is not enough information on Gigabyte site on how to make it work. it is a waste of time and money.
Summary: This seems to be a good first build motherboard, since it's solidly built, has an installed CPU fan mount that works and is labeled well for the power supply, SATA, USB and front panel connectors; instructions could be better, of course, but the POST ran and I was able to install WIN8 without a hitch; would appreciate better documentation of the BIOS features, since I am not yet using the board's full capability.
Summary: about the only thing I found that I hate about this MB is the location of the PCIE short slot which I use for a tuner card my 9800 gtx card is a double slot card so it completely covers the small slot and the location of the memory slots are too close to the processor so you cannot use a standard cpu fan and utilize both memory slots or ram will not fit under fan
Summary: Very basic board, neat and clean. Can not access the BIOS tried as directed in so called manual and all the tricks learned over the years. Absolutely no help from GIGABYTE site. Phone line is for hold only. Un able to install op system. This was my first and last gigabyte. It is total junk..
