Good board

sweetsop, Amazon
16 September 2014
  • Summary: Despite the raggedy look of the box, like it was opened and re-taped and the anti static bag that contained the board, open, it works well. I examined the board and it looks new and unused, even though the condition of the packaging showed otherwise. I was really under the impression that it was a used or refurbished board, but it does look and performs new. Still not sure, but it works fine. I just wish it had an IDE socket.

Good for the money

Loveleen Gill, Amazon
9 September 2014
  • Summary: I wish there was space between the PCI x16 and the PCI x8 because it hard to use a sound card and a 2 slot graphics card.

Worked good with parts but Ethernet blew 6 months in

Kyler, Amazon
30 June 2014
  • Summary: Bought this motherboard 6 months ago and recently had the Ethernet port go. We originally bought this motherboard to work with an AMD Athlon II which worked good except it still never played the game we were trying to play, which is Rocksmith 2014. We built the computer just over minimal specs said on the box and it still had audio lag.

not so great for gaming

Marino C., Amazon
20 May 2014
  • Summary: I needed this for my budget PC build. there wasn't enough space for my video card and PCI wifi adapter so I had to get a USB adapter. this is a good MoBo unless you want it for gaming or plan to have a internal wifi adapter and video card at the same time.

9 May 2014
  • Summary: This is the 2nd MB of this model in 1 yr this one is only 40 days old and it has already failed. GB web site on returns doesn't work either so their 3 yr warranty is useless I will NEVER buy Gigabyte again.

Perfect price - just what I needed

DeepSleeper, Amazon
8 May 2014
  • Summary: Bought this as a used restock and got such a killer price on it for my spare workstation that I couldn't pass it up. Does what it should, it just works. It has very few ports but that is ok, it only has to play the occasional game and is used as a backup with a 6 core Phenom II processor and 8Gb ram. Runs like a champ, stable. Wouldn't try any serious overclocking with it. One thing to note, this board was used and wasn't even packed in a static bag when I got it.

It works.

Donald O, Amazon
6 May 2014
  • Summary: This is a very low end, no bells and whistles kind of motherboard. If you need a very basic and inexspensive motherboard, this one should work just fine. 4 months and still going strong.

Family Dad, Amazon
29 April 2014
  • Summary: If you plan to use this on a AMD FX CPU you're going to be dissapointed, the performance you get through this board with one is limited, and so are the features. Pros: + Price + It works (Sort of) + Sounds pretty good + Small (Good if you're building compact) Cons: - Poorly thought out header locations - Low quality parts used - Puts out a lot of heat through the on board video chip (Even when disabled) - Old style bios, without many options - Limited ram options and...

Glen Whiltey, Amazon
25 April 2014
  • Summary: This is a good base motherboard for a run of the mill computer. It has all the necessary slots for a typical computer and has been running without any issues. It lacks any form or SLI and only has 2 memory slots so not good for high end system. No USB 3.
