usable after updating the bios

Rowl, Amazon
  • Summary: pros 6 sata ports gigabit nic supports 16gb ram works wonderfully with AMD FX 4-Core Black Edition FX-4300 and 16gb cons it was ridiculously buggy before updating the bios, i was not able to boot from usb (bios version now F6) and it would loose the bios configuration after removing power. other thoughts: great value, would have loved this motherboard if it had sata 3 ports instead of sata 2.

  • Summary: Works like it is supposed to. Would purchase another. Gigabyte Mobo's have been reliable and cost effective for me. Works with AM3+ and AM3 processors.

If you are looking for a budget gaming board to run whatever on low to mid spec, this baby is solid!

RogueDeadGuy777, Amazon
17 March 2014
  • Summary: I been a pc enthusiast for quite a while, and until this hadn't fooled with Gigabyte boards. Now I LOVES me some Gigabyte! Solid, beautiful tech! I didn't try an FX CPU, just a Phenom II; 4 gigs ddr3 RAM, a 2GB GDDR3 low end video card et al. It is running like a charm with said hardware. Read another review if your looking to crank top tech outta this horse; as for me I'm satisfied and confident I could upgrade on it in the future.

Not so great...

Blake, Amazon
28 February 2014
  • Summary: When I assembled my PC, using this board, I didn't have any issues. Everything continued to run smooth for the next two months, After hours of gaming and video rendering, I realized that I had made a bad choice by choosing this board. My northbridge started overheating like crazy! I was suddenly not able to get my CPU past 60% load without causing restarts and BSOD errors. My CPU temperatures looked fine, but the area around was not compensating well.

Great MOBO for the price!!

Brian R., Newegg
20 February 2014
  • Pros: - Micro ATX!! Love them, but it's personal preference I guess
  • Cons: - Not really a con, but I wish this was SLI/Crossfire compatible. Although I knew it wasn't going in, so not really a con.
