Summary: Strengths: -Works excellent with Windows XP, Vista, 7 -Works with Ubuntu 9.04 -Most compatible board that I use for OSX Hackintosh - Leopard and Snow Leopard -Solid Caps -Easy/Safe Bios updating using @BIOS Weaknesses: +5vsb cannot be disabled - F9 Bios does not fix the slow USB boot - No AHCI mode Summary: Overall this board is awesome and I love it. The 1st board was defective. Mwave replaced it right away, no questions asked! Great support!
Summary: Great matx board for htpc, etc. For light to moderate use onboard graphic suffice, great for an inexpensive desktop build. I have built a few with this model mainboard with no problems. A good, reliable Gigabyte product.
Summary: Awesome gaming board accepted my intel E3300 without a problem. $22 great price. Only thing wrong with my board was 3 bent pins. I used a small screw driver to bend them back and it works great.
Summary: I had tried two other boards with my Intel E5400 Processor without success. When I put the G31m in it worked the first time, and works well with Windows 7 installed. Very fast and problem free.
Summary: One of the easiest mobos to install I've ever come across, for a first build this was really good. Everything just works, not much more to it. This board also make OC'ing really easy for begginers as I managed to OC a Intel Pentium Dual Core E2140 to 2.4ghz and a Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 to 3 ghz. I've just upgraded to a Asrock G41m VS3 R2.0 as it has DDR3 memory and can use a full 8gb with win 7 64bit.
Summary: I bought this as I wanted to keep my current system going, the motherboard was on it's way out and didn't support the latest interfaces reliably (SATA/PCI express). I bought this after a quick search for socket 775 motherboards. It had positive reviews and was a good price versus buying the latest/greatest bits. The old motherboard came out of my system, I removed the old pentium cpu and put it in this one. It's a tiny board so should fit in any case.
Summary: With so many companies these days making and distributing motherboards offering a whole range of different features i dove in at the deep end and just tried to sort through them all, one thing i did notice as i was looking through them all, gigabyte really are great value and performance for your money, everything moved from my old standard motherboard over to this one within about 20 mins, and i was turned back on and already checking out the over-clocking features, i...
