Summary: After much searching to get a motherboard good quality and durability, I found this as well as the processor I bought, was a great happiness that I had to use! The 3D BIOS interface is also very easy to handle and without many risks. If you are searching for quality, durability, excellence and a micro size, buy it!
Summary: Gigabyte is going straight down hill with their product quality. They used to make a solid, reliable product and not 50+% of their MBs and components my computer mnaufacturing company purchases do no pass our initial testing with a good handful dieing months out. Stay away and go with MSI, Asus, and ASRock. Much more reliable for current times. We have dropped GB as a product supplier from our entire business.
Summary: Should have gone with a i7-4770K and be done with it. I'd have to say this board is strictly for 4th Gen. I found an incompatibility with Netgear's Genie and Killer LAN. It kills the LAN to LAN transfer speed (80Kb/s!). Just uncheck the Netgear Firewall filter on the adapter and you'll be back to normal.
Pros: I bought this board last year because I wanted to build a little mATX and something that had the fastest SLI and saw this supports x16/x8 for the slim 7750s I was going to use. Build changed, and I went to a full case and a 770. Lots of nice features, Creative Labs Sound, changeable Amp chip, and Killer LAN. I haven't used 1/2 of them.
Cons: I upgraded from an i5-4670K to a i7-4790K. Even at the latest BIOS of this writing, F10, it doesn't correctly detect the chip parameters. It will stay stuck at the 4.4Ghz speed even with no load. I've decided to move on to a Z97 board, since I no longer have the 4670K. I don't think I can wait for F11 to come out.
Summary: Two years ago I was building a budget gaming PC and I purchased this MOBO because it better than all the ATX MOBOs in the same price range. It's absolutely perfect, except I've gotten to the point where my case allows for more hard drives, but this MOBO doesn't. This really isn't the MOBO's fault since it's a Micro ATX. I just wish I had shelled out the money for the ATX version since I will be anyways in a year or two.
Pros: Flawless. The color scheme makes it super easy to hook everything up and it's labeled really, REALLY well.
Pros: Even though this is smaller than a standard board, there's nothing lacking in the performance department. This system continuously outperformed similar systems clocked higher in both synthetic benches and real world applications but it pulls in front in real world, only just. The only reason I'm still giving this 4 eggs is because it is such a strong little powerhouse. I still maintain this is one of the best looking z87 boards on the market and I'm glad I got one bef...
Cons: There's really only one major flaw and I was ready to knock 2 eggs off this board because of the BIOS and lack of support for updating the BIOS. I was reluctant to flash it from F7 to the most recent approved F9, I completely skipped over F8. There is a F10a release but it's a beta and I'm not going to touch it with a 10 foot pole. F9 is a major improvement over F7 but it still needs work. With F7, if I so much as touch the memory timings, timings that were on the JED...

A great card, quality, performance and attractive, with updated drivers and utilities from Gigabyte.
28 June 2014
Summary: I love this card, I've been a month of use, the drivers gave me no problems on 64-bit Windows 8.1 Pro. Very good audio quality, and did I mention that it is very attractive?. I put a core i5 4670k OC to 4.2Ghz, with a liquid cooling Cooler master Seidon 120M, there were no problems. Something that I really liked was not where he placed the fan headers, cost me a lot of power to connect them all in one case Cooler Master 690II Nvidia Edition.
