Summary: After lots of trials configuring an Asus Gene V and tired of their mediocre service, ordered this Gigabyte. Installation was easy, all connections are named but my only concern is that the 12 volt PS is four prong unlike most of the others. Don't waste money buying an adapter, just connect the four middle terminals from the PSU and it works perfectly. I have a second computer using another Gigabyte with an AMD CPU and never have had problems in three years.
Summary: Motherboards are a touchy subject this one is for me gamers like me and crazy folks. There are larger boards for people that are just crazy but currently top of the line comes in many packages (including this one) GIG FOREVER YOUR A BAD PIECE OF SILICONE!
Summary: I was stuck between this and the similar offerings from Asus. I ultimately chose this because of the high marks earned by the onboard soundcard. I must say, it is truly spectacular for an integrated module. The motherboard has a great, easy-to-use 3D BIOS with mouse support and has enough connectivity for 95% of mATX builds.
Summary: Bought this for a Video Editing / Gaming Rig for a client. It had all the features we needed in a small package. Computer was smoking fast and had no problems with the board, comparability or posting issues. We use this in a future build for sure.
Summary: My first venture into Micro-ATX and I'm pretty happy. This board has worked very well so far. BIOS updates were flawless and configuration is straightforward. Has easy settings for modest overclocking which is what I was looking for. Included audio seems a notch above most other solutions. Had a BSOD problem that took a while to troubleshoot but turned out to be a bad stick of memory. The board seems rock solid after memory RMA.
